Welcome to my gallery, I'm so excited to have you!

You guessed it! I'm Shelby. I am a wife and a mother to a beautiful little girl named Adeline and a handsome little dude named Legolas. Oh, he's a snake by the way

I am a happy stay at home momma but I found myself growing tired of the same days over & over again. I wanted something exciting, something different, something...fun! I wanted to find a hobby, one that I actually stuck with and enjoyed! So one day, I was spending the afternoon browsing on Pinterest and decided to pack up the diaper bag, grab the baby and we headed to Michael's to see what we could find! I had this idea of wanting to paint but I had no idea where to start. I was clueless, walking up and down what seemed like hundreds of aisles with different paints, different brushes, different canvases--you get the point. I grab what I thought would be a good start and headed home. That day, I painted my first painting. A cute little minnie mouse & Eeyore's butt (yes, you read that right...) that I had no idea I could create!

My mind starting wandering, my thoughts started to go crazy. Is this it? Did I finally find my hobby?! My hobby that I've been dying to have!? I tried crocheting, it wasn't for me. I tried sewing, the machine just made me mad. I tried cooking, I gained way too much weight. Exercising? Nobody has time for that. Blogging, I love it...but writer's block is annoying. Making youtube videos? Well, I'm just not that funny/interesting. But painting...

I looked down at my work and smiled. Painting! I think I may be on to something. Over the next few weeks, I continued to paint different things, trying new styles and seeing what all I could do. Each time I would compeltely surprise myself with how well they would turn out and the most important part, how much fun I had painting them!

I have a very special bond with each of my artwork that I create. Every stroke is carefully planned out and thought through. When I see them, it reminds me of what I was doing while I was painting them, how I was feeling, what I was thinking about, what I was listening to. The feeling of finally finishing a piece and stepping back and looking at what you created is so fulfilling. I started sharing my artwork onto my social media and received so much love and support.  This is where my shop came to life! I want to be able to share my artwork with the world and to be able to give someone a piece that they love & cherish! I am so excited to start this new journey and cannot wait to share with you all more work and send them off to new homes!
